WHEN you're earning a couple of bucks an hour as a waitress, tips really matter.

It's hard for Aussies to fathom, given the comparably generous minimum wage in our country, but it's the harsh reality for many workers in the States.

Harsher still when you're a young woman with two young children to feed, right?

So imagine the joy this waitress felt when she became the unexpected beneficiary of random goodwill.

The set up goes like this: A few nice blokes from a venture called Give Back Films went to a diner and randomly gave their waitress a whopping tip.

They filmed her reaction, uploaded it to YouTube, then melted the whole world's heart.
