Man's body found on beach in WA's south

POLICE believe circumstances surrounding a body that was found this afternoon on a beach near Albany are not suspicious.

The body, which police confirm is male, was reported just after 1pm on a beach at Two People's Bay in Nanarup, which is east of Albany and about 430km south of Perth.

Police remain at the scene but late this afternoon police told PerthNow that they do not believe circumstances surrounding the death to be suspicious.
