THE search for a missing prospector in the Goldfields will resume on Friday after crews had no success finding the 46-year-old man today.
Police and State Emergency Service volunteers have been looking for Michael Keith Graham since Tuesday afternoon.
The last confirmed sighting of him was on Sunday and he was reported missing on Tuesday, January 15.
Leonora police and 22 State Emergency Services volunteers today searched the Lake Ballard area of Menzies on land and in a helicopter for Mr Graham.
The SES volunteers have been provided with accommodation to rest this evening and police officers will remain in the search area overnight.
A team of six mounted section police officers were deployed to Menzies earlier today and will be part of the search tomorrow.
It is not known if Mr Graham has access to food, water and shelter, and police said there were serious concerns for his safety because his supplies were still with his vehicle.
Police went to his campsite Tuesday afternoon and found his vehicle, but officers could not find the prospector.
Today's search area covered between Snake Hill and Mount Ida.
The search operation is continuing today with the assistance of SES volunteers from Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Norseman, Armadale, Swan, Gosnells, Canning and Northshore.
