GOLD Coast Suns star Harley Bennell has been charged with disorderly conduct after a New Year's Eve fight in his home town of Mandurah.
Bennell, recruited to the Gold Coast Suns from Peel Thunder, was allegedly involved in large fight which broke out during New Year's Eve celebrations on Mandurah foreshore early today .
The AFL footballer, who had a break-out year with the Suns last year finishing runner-up to superstar captain Gary Ablett in the club's Fairest and Best count, was arrested about 2am and later released on bail.
