SEVERE fire warnings have been issued for parts of the Pilbara and the coastal parts of the Gascoyne.

The Bureau of Meterology has forecast very hot, dry and windy conditions for the inland part of the Shire of Asburton, the Shire of Exmouth as well as the coastal parts of Carnarvon and Shark Bay for Sunday.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services have urged residents in the area to be aware of the conditions and watch for signs of fire, especially smoke and flames.
