CUSTOMERS at a Greenwood liquor store were forced to lie on the ground and surrender their wallets and phones as they were robbed by two armed men.
Two men, one allegedly armed with a knife, the other with a gun, entered the BWS liquor store on Calectasia Street, Greenwood just before 9.30pm and demanded cash
.
Police said as one offender removed money from the till the other, who was believed to be holding a gun, forced a number of customers to lie on the floor and demanded they remove their wallets and mobile phones.
The offenders then fled the scene in a Holden Commodore driven by a woman.
No one was injured during the incident.
Gull Service station robbery
Meanwhile, police are hunting for a man who allegedly robbed a Gull petrol station in Alexander Heights.
The incident happened at around 12.10am on Saturday.Police allege the man, who was armed with an axe, entered the garage and threatened staff for money.
He then fled on the scene on foot.
The man has been described as having olive skin; approximately 20 years of age, about 185cm tall,
stocky build and has short brown hair.
He was wearing a light blue jacket, dark blue cargo-style pants and sneakers.
